Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.
In the case of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g., online exercises, e-books, videos), the withdrawal period begins upon conclusion of the contract.

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this repayment.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send off the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Exclusion or Premature Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if the entrepreneur has begun the performance of the contract after the consumer has expressly consented to the entrepreneur beginning the performance of the contract before the expiry of the withdrawal period and has confirmed their knowledge that they lose their right of withdrawal by their consent with the beginning of the performance.

Returns & Condition of Goods

Please return books only in perfect condition. A return is only possible if the book is not damaged, not written in, and not used beyond the usual extent.
For returns with clear signs of use (e.g., handwritten notes, dog-ears, stains, or tears), we reserve the right to deduct compensation for depreciation or to refuse the return, provided the condition exceeds a usual inspection.
The buyer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Complaint for Damaged Delivery

Should the product be damaged or faulty upon delivery, please contact us immediately via email at admin@deutsche-sprache.com. We will arrange for a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
